About the Role

Better Neighbourhoods is seeking an Urban Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our urban planning department, you will play a crucial role in developing engineering specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering Specifications and Drawings: Assist in creating detailed engineering specifications and drawings that meet project requirements.
  • Urban Planning: Work closely with our urban planning team to develop innovative solutions for urban development projects.
  • Design Concepts: Prepare design concepts, sketches, or models for approval by stakeholders.
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Utilize CAD software to create accurate designs and models.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Drafting: Proficient in drafting techniques and software.
    • GIS: Experienced in Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
    • 3D Graphic Software: Skilled in using 3D graphic software for visualization purposes.
    • AutoCAD: Proficient in AutoCAD software.
    • MS Office: Experienced in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
