About the Role

Razir Transport Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team for a Long Haul position. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics and Administration: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, including Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Driver's License (Class 1 or A) requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, reliable, team player, and hardworking.
