About the Role

Razir Transport Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another, following all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, including updates on your location, cargo, and any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of your cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of your cargo, including tarping and securing loads as needed.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Have experience as a truck driver, preferably in long-haul operations.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Be familiar with accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, and trans-border documentation.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
