Concrete Finisher

Job Summary:
Proform Concrete is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team in Alberta and British Columbia. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement material
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
- Filling hollows and removing high spots on freshly poured concrete
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
- Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification using a straight edge or float
- Finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Stripping concrete forms and cutting control joints
Requirements:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- CSA approved steel-toed boots
- Physically demanding, handling heavy loads
- Dusty, muddy, temperature changes
Working Conditions:
As a Concrete Finisher, you will be working in a physically demanding environment with dusty, muddy, and temperature changes. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in various locations in Alberta and British Columbia.
