Senior Workday Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Workday Payroll Consultant at HR-PATH, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and maintenance of Workday Payroll for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and configure Workday Payroll to meet those needs. Your expertise will be essential in providing training and support to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the implementation of the Workday Payroll module, ensuring seamless integration with client systems.
- Analyze client needs and configure Workday Payroll settings to ensure compliance with tax and labor laws, guaranteeing accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Develop project documentation, including design documents and testing, to ensure a thorough understanding of the implementation process.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops, providing expert guidance to clients and HR-PATH consultants.
- Maintain daily communication with clients and HR-PATH consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
- Support the project team in the implementation and evolution of the solution, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Configure and customize the tool as part of the deployment, ensuring a tailored solution that meets client needs.
- Assist in managing the maintenance of the Workday Payroll tool, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Delivery and Maintenance:
- Monitor the delivery of bug fixes and enhancements from the vendor, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Provide training and support for the final solution to end users, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal adoption.
- Participate in testing, ensuring the solution meets client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct technical controls, ensuring the solution is secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- The position may be held remotely from Canada, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday.
- Deep knowledge of at least one Workday Payroll Module (Pay Component Configuration, Taxes, Accounting, Payroll Reporting, FLSA, Flat Sum Bonus, Retro, Payroll Business Processes, EIBs & Data Conversion) as well as Security and Reporting.
- Workday Certified a plus.
- Excellent English level, French a plus.
- Experience with configuring and customizing Workday Payroll.
- Experience with developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures.
- Experience with conducting system testing and troubleshooting payroll issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
