Workday Payroll Consultant Role

At HR-PATH, we are seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Consultant to join our team. As a Workday Payroll Consultant, you will play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of Workday Payroll for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of the implementation of the Workday Payroll module, ensuring seamless integration with client systems.
  • Analyze client needs and configure Workday Payroll settings to ensure compliance with tax and labor laws, guaranteeing accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Develop project documentation, including design documents and testing, to ensure a thorough understanding of the implementation.
  • Facilitate and participate in workshops, providing expert guidance to clients and HR Path consultants.
  • Maintain daily communication with clients and HR Path consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Support the project team in the implementation and evolution of the solution, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Configure and customize the tool as part of the deployment, ensuring a tailored solution that meets client needs.
  • Assist in managing the maintenance of the Workday Payroll tool, ensuring ongoing support and optimization.
Delivery and Maintenance:
  • Monitor the delivery of bug fixes and enhancements from the vendor, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide training and support for the final solution to end users, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal adoption.
  • Participate in testing, ensuring the solution meets client requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct technical controls, ensuring the solution is secure and compliant.
  • The position can be held remotely from Canada, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one Workday Payroll Module, including Pay Component Configuration, Taxes, Accounting, Payroll Reporting, FLSA, Flat Sum Bonus, Retro, Payroll Business Processes, EIBs & Data Conversion, as well as Security and Reporting.
  • Workday Certified a plus.
  • Excellent English level, French a plus.
  • Experience with configuring and customizing Workday Payroll.
  • Experience with developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures.
  • Experience with conducting system testing and troubleshooting payroll issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
