**Job Title:** Security Officer
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Lac La Ronge Indian Band. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our assets, employees, and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Guard against fire, suspicious behavior, theft, vandalism, and forced entry.
- Patrol buildings, grounds, and work sites as specified by the employer.
- Observe or examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
- Watch for and report irregularities to supervisors and other agencies (RCMP or Fire Department).
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide written and verbal reports with attention to factual details.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature as may be assigned from time to time.
**Requirements:**
- Security Guard training course or related.
- Grade 12 diploma.
- Previous experience in the security industry will be an asset.
- Ability to deal with the public in a respectful, assertive manner.
- Must be able to pass RCMP Security Clearance.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to provide an acceptable Driver's Abstract.
- Have access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Punctual, honest, and reliable.
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
