Job Summary:
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to join our team. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Microsoft and Azure infrastructure, administering and monitoring Microsoft Identity and Security environments, and developing and maintaining IT-related policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft and Azure infrastructure in a hybrid environment.
- Administer and monitor Microsoft Identity and Security environments, including endpoint device management, compliance, conditional access, and identity protection.
- Develop and maintain IT-related policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively implemented across the organization to uphold security standards and regulatory compliance.
- Configure network devices for new and lifecycle deployments as required.
- Manage and maintain DNS, DHCP, NPS, Remote Access VPN's, IP Address Management.
- Deploy and configure physical and virtual server builds with associated hardware and peripherals.
- Basic troubleshooting and support for Xyntax financial & administration management software system.
- Basic troubleshooting and support for AIS Indigenous Communities Administration Software.
- Management of Mitrefinch Time Management System.
- Management of Windows, MacOS, Chrome, and iOS end-point devices through Endpoint Manager MDM and related SaaS platforms.
- Responsible for the image development, security, and release strategy execution for Windows and Mac OS computing endpoints.
- Optimize network configurations for speed, stability, and redundancy.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network and server infrastructure.
- Ensure relevant systems are fully patched and up to date.
- Analyze and resolve highly complex technical issues.
- Maintain and update Infrastructure asset management and network documentation.
- Monitor and ensure backups are complete and accurate.
- Proactively monitor systems for uptime, security, and availability.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline(s).
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Administration.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an asset.
- CompTia Network +, ITIL V3/V4 would be considered assets.
- 5 years of working experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- 5 years of practical experience working with and supporting Cisco Catalyst, Extreme Network switches and Extreme Wireless.
- Experience administering hypervisor environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Ninja RMM management and scripting.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Sophos Firewalls, Sophos RED VPN technologies and end-point security products.
- Advance knowledge of JAMF Mobile device management and scripting.
- Advance knowledge of Google Admin Console and chrome device management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
