Executive Chef Manager at Florette
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Florette. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and train staff on new equipment.
- Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Create innovative recipes that meet customer expectations.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
- Oversee the daily activities of cooks and other kitchen staff.
- Source high-quality ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Purchase and maintain equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their wedding, banquet, and specialty function requirements.
- Develop and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants.
- Design menus that meet quality standards and appeal to diverse customer tastes.
- Prepare dishes tailored to customers with dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a cohesive team.
- Noisy kitchen environment.
- Frequent exposure to food odors.
- Hot temperatures during peak hours.
You will supervise 5-10 people, including sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
Certifications and Qualifications- Achieve Safe Food Handling and Food Safety Certificates.
- South Indian, Canadian, Italian, Thai, European, and International cuisine options available.
- Bakery goods, desserts, fish and seafood, meat, poultry, game, stocks, soups, sauces, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and mushrooms menu items.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Dependable and organized individual with excellent communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
