Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Montreal team. As a key member of our Building Structural Group, you will be responsible for leading structural design teams and coordinating with other disciplines to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead structural design teams to achieve project delivery.
  2. Coordinate structural design and construction with other disciplines.
  3. Work closely with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  4. Carry out structural modeling, analysis, and design.
  5. Prepare and review structural reports and drawings.
  6. Collaborate with BIM staff to prepare drawings.
  7. Review construction submittals, constructability, and staging drawings.
  8. Conduct site visits to review work for compliance with structural drawings and contract documents.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  2. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  3. 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on industrial projects.
  4. Fluency in French and English.
  5. Proven experience with complete design of projects including analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration.
  6. In-depth knowledge of building codes, including NBCC, Quebec Construction Code, and CSA standards.
  7. Proficient in structural analysis software, including SAP, ETABS, SAFE, RAM-Structural, S-Concrete, Microsoft Office Suite, and Acrobat/Bluebeam.
