Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Montreal team. As a key member of our Building Structural Group, you will be responsible for leading structural design teams and coordinating with other disciplines to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design teams to achieve project delivery
  • Coordinate structural design and construction with other disciplines
  • Work closely with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Carry out structural modeling, analysis, and design
  • Prepare and review structural reports and drawings
  • Collaborate with BIM staff to prepare drawings
  • Review construction submittals, constructability, and staging drawings
  • Conduct site visits to review work and identify potential issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on industrial projects
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Proven experience with complete design of projects, including analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, including NBCC, Quebec Construction Code, and CSA standards
  • Proficient in structural analysis software, including SAP, ETABS, SAFE, RAM-Structural, S-Concrete, and Microsoft Office Suite
