  • About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Compassionate Care Home & Hospital Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on employee experience and organizational development.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures for the HR department
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations within the organization
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage contracts and agreements with external vendors and partners
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform HR decisions
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to provide insights into HR metrics and trends
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve conflicts and issues
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure fair treatment of employees
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to achieve HR objectives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee experience and organizational development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Judgement and flexibility
  • Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
