Job Title: Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale projects in the mechanical engineering field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
