Operations Officer Job Description in Markham

This job is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with a top 5 bank. You will be working in a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office.

Responsibilities
- Open new commercial deposit accounts
- Process account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)
- Open additional accounts for existing customers via Letter Of Direction
- Obtain/compile required supporting documentation
- Follows AML, regulatory & legal compliance requirements

Requirements
- Basic understanding of AML Compliance
- Computer Savvy – MS Suites Excel: basic understanding
- Typing speed min 60-65 wpm
- Previous admin work/ previous Ops officer work – 2+ years
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Skills
- Banking Experience/ Previous financial institution
- Knowledge of Host applications and C3 considered an asset
- Bilingual – French
