Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collection of accounts receivable, while providing exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve aged accounts receivable over 60 days, ensuring prompt payment from customers.
  • Lead meetings with internal and external customers to resolve issues and build strong working relationships.
  • Work closely with customers to receive payments timely and achieve collection targets.
  • Process and collect approximately $30M per month of accounts receivables.
  • Streamline manual processes and identify opportunities to improve workflow between Finning and our customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless payment processing.
  • Collaborate with branches to ensure contract compliance and timely billing.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations to identify areas for improvement and reduce aged AR.
Requirements
  • 5 years of high-volume corporate collections experience.
  • Strong experience with financial analysis and financial modeling.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Customer-facing experience, including customer escalation.
  • Complete knowledge of credit and finance principles.
  • Sound understanding of Finning's credit and finance policies and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and internal systems.
  • Knowledge of Lawson and other ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate independently within and outside the organization.
