- Education: Relevant post-secondary education, such as a Certificate in Manitoba Municipal Administration (CMMA) or equivalent.
- Experience: Several years of relevant experience in municipal administration, financial management, and human resource management.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated experience developing effective and empowered teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead effective change.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups.
- Understanding of Governance Principles: Demonstrated understanding of effective governance principles, with prior experience working with councils or similar governing bodies an asset.
