Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer. This key role will provide strategic and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer and lead the nursing and allied professions in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Lead the nursing and allied professions in our organization
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate acute and community programs and services
  • Contribute to the overall administration of the hospital through participation in policy setting, planning, budgetary, and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience within nursing and healthcare administration
  • Experience in community health or social services preferred
  • Extensive experience in service delivery and business operations
  • Ability to lead and participate in both short- and long-term planning
  • Experience in human resource management, financial management, and quality improvement required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recognized course in Health Care Management an asset
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, an asset
