About the Role: We are seeking a Business Development Director to lead our revenue growth initiatives at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue goals, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts.
  • Build relationships with customers and the community to drive future bookings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize room revenue and control hotel occupancy.
  • Partner with Event Management and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement Marriott's service strategy and brand initiatives to enhance customer loyalty.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of the property's primary target customer and their service expectations.
  • The ability to monitor same-day selling procedures to maximize revenue and control occupancy.
  • A strong knowledge of Marriott's Customer Service Standards and Brand Standards.
