Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This includes coordinating information flow, establishing office procedures, and managing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage contracts
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Team player with excellent client focus
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The successful candidate will provide support to newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Youths:

The successful candidate will offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Indigenous People:

The successful candidate will provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Support for Visible Minorities:

The successful candidate will apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.
