This position involves providing professional registered nursing services for residents with complex and unpredictable health needs at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on national averages in Canada. Please note that actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) will provide independent nursing services, administer prescribed medical treatments, and take a leadership role within the healthcare team. The RN will also facilitate coordination of resident care and discharge, demonstrating a commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, applicants must possess a graduate degree from an approved Registered Nursing education program, active practicing registration with CRNM, and Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing (an asset). They should also have a Certificate in CPR and experience in Gerontological Nursing.
