About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Human Resources Director to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. In this role, you will be responsible for allocating resources, authorizing department establishment, and coordinating work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimum working conditions.

Additional Requirements

  • Proven computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility, judgment, and initiative in a team environment.
