Job Summary

Chapple Fuels is seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. As a Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to determine the best approach for each project.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
Work Environment

As a Welding Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including hot and noisy environments.
