About the Role

Chapple Fuels is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate execution.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate client focus, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
