Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team at WELL Health Manitoba Clinic.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to medical staff, including answering phone calls, responding to correspondence, and preparing correspondence on behalf of medical professionals.
  • Patient Care: Ensure efficient use of space and time while providing direct patient care, including check-in, procedural explanations, and tracking tasks assigned by physicians.
  • Billing and Insurance: Prepare and process billing and insurance documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Scheduling: Confirm appointments with patients and maximize clinic efficiency by effectively managing schedules.
Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
Benefits
