Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Administrative Officer to join our team at Dakota Medical Corporation. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week with parking available.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff and stakeholders. They will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and ensuring that established procedures are followed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with organizational goals
  • Delegate work to office support staff to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Establish work priorities and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and preparing periodic reports
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records under government legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Train staff on new procedures and technologies
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, and other relevant software
Working Conditions

This position will be based in a health care institution or facility, with a typical workload of 11-15 people to supervise.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
