Occupational Therapist Opportunity

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, with a team of over 3,000 professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality, client-centred care. As an Occupational Therapist with VHA, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing consultation, recommendations, and interventions to adults and geriatric clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards.
  • Develop and implement client-centered care plans in collaboration with the client and care team.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries of interventions.
  • Support safe client care through the development of knowledge and skills in accordance with our principles of continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle (asset).
  • Compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in caseload management and electronic documentation.
  • Able to provide virtual care.
