Business Development Director, Pharmaceuticals

Join DSV Road GmbH, a dynamic organization that fosters inclusivity and diversity, as we seek a highly skilled Business Development Director, Pharmaceuticals to lead our Pharmaceuticals Industry Vertical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the Pharmaceuticals Industry Vertical strategy, driving growth and collaboration between National Sales and Product functions.
- Ensure global account growth plans are executed where applicable, focusing on National Key Accounts with significant potential.
- Drive end-to-end and value-added solutions selling with a focus on National Key Accounts.
- Ensure all global sales policies, processes, and guidelines relating to the Industry Vertical are adhered to.
- Review up-trading, down-trading, loss-making, and newly gained accounts monthly and take corrective action.
- Ensure Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Business Review meetings take place, are well-prepared, and all relevant stakeholders are involved in a timely manner.
- Ensure minutes from Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Business Review meetings are distributed to all relevant stakeholders and corrective actions are followed up.
- Ensure any concerns and/or complaints are timely escalated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Degree in Business administration, economics, marketing, international transportation, or supply chain logistics.
- CIFFA certificate, an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, building professional relationships internally and externally.
- Strategic and planning skills (ability to develop strategy and plan).
- Proficient in both English and French language.
- Microsoft Office suite.
Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer. Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
