Lone Star Texas Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing leadership and coaching to our team of cooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train a team of cooks to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving of supplies.
- Develop and implement menu planning and pricing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and quality of food products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
