Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pure Kitchen Kanata. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen operations to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations and improve efficiency.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing kitchen demands.
Pure Kitchen Kanata is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and safety.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
