The Labour Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our team consistently applies our labour relations policies and practices. This includes supporting the operational team in disciplinary and labour-management matters, and serving as the labour relations contact at our Montreal Airport location.

- Mentor the Labour Relations team to advise employees, management, and operations on a wide range of labour and employee relations issues, including performance management, discipline, investigations, case law, and interpersonal relationship problems.
- Contribute to grievance management beyond step 3 by taking charge of the mediation and negotiation process to ensure effective grievance management and minimize organizational and financial costs.
- Contribute to collective bargaining, including the preparation and negotiation phase.
- Contribute to the development of training programs for operational and administrative teams.
- Participate in the development of our labour relations service offering by implementing new, innovative practices.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Post-secondary education in human resources or labour relations, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in a federal jurisdiction is ideal.
- Work experience in a labour relations position, ideally in team supervision.
- Experience in disciplinary investigations and the implementation of corrective measures.
