We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at ONTARIO INC.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week, offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating special events and managing kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent culinary skills, with the ability to plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. They will also be responsible for training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate special events and manage kitchen operations;
  2. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization;
  3. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food;
  4. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment;
  5. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
Requirements

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
