Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Research and implement solutions to technical issues, using technical manuals and other resources as needed
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to resolve complex issues and improve overall support services
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience and efficiency
  • Supervise and train junior technical support staff to ensure high-quality support services
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users, including setup and maintenance of equipment
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to user inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage incidents and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • 1-7 months of experience in a technical support role
  • Permanent employment with 30-45 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
