Automotive Service Technician Opportunity

Tirecraft, a proudly Canadian owned and operated company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Automotive Service Technician position. As an apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in automotive repairs and service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Advisors in obtaining work orders and customer service requirements.
  • Work under the guidance of a licensed Automotive Service Technician to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Inspect and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace parts and components as needed.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with a licensed technician.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
  • Previous experience with tires (installation and repairs).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Strong communication skills.
