Automotive Service Technician

Tirecraft, a proudly Canadian owned and operated company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Automotive Service Technician position. As an apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in automotive repairs and service.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and customer service requirements.
- Work under the guidance of a licensed Automotive Service Technician to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Inspect and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic tools.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups.
- Inspect and test mechanical components to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with a licensed Automotive Service Technician.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
- Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
- Previous experience with tires (installation and repairs).
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Strong communication skills.
