Automotive Service Technician Opportunity
Tirecraft, a proudly Canadian owned and operated company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Automotive Service Technician position. As an apprentice, you will work towards completing your apprenticeship program while gaining hands-on experience in automotive repairs and service.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with licensed Automotive Service Technicians for guidance and mentorship.
- Inspect and test mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with licensed Automotive Service Technicians to determine whether to repair or replace units.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
Qualifications
- Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
- Previous experience with tires (installation and repairs).
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Strong communication skills.
