Automotive Service Technician Apprentice Opportunity

Tirecraft, a proudly Canadian owned and operated company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Automotive Service Technician Apprentice position. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work towards completing your apprenticeship program while gaining hands-on experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and customer service requirements.
  • Work closely with licensed Automotive Service Technicians for guidance and mentorship.
  • Inspect and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups.
  • Inspect and test mechanical components to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose faults and confirm findings with licensed Automotive Service Technicians.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
  • Previous experience with tires (installation and repairs).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Strong communication skills.
