Job Description

Quanta Canada Renewables is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project design, engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure project success.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Develop and manage procurement strategies, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Health, Safety, and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment, implement quality control measures, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven track record in project management, construction, and contracting, with a strong understanding of the power industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in project management software, and knowledge of safety and environmental best practices.
