Become a part of AVA Energy, a forward-thinking independent power producer dedicated to addressing the climate emergency through innovative renewable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee land procurement, project development services, engineering, regulatory approvals, and financing for wind, solar, and energy storage initiatives throughout Western Canada.
  • Evaluate and identify viable project locations, develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and financial projections, and negotiate land rights with property owners while collaborating with agents and legal advisors.
  • Coordinate and supervise consultants, assess expert reports, perform environmental impact evaluations, and manage inquiries related to planning and technical project matters.
  • Engage with local government entities, grid operators, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders, and facilitate public engagement activities such as open forums and stakeholder discussions.
  • Examine and evaluate technical documentation, ensuring precise preparation and thorough record-keeping.
