About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, performing emergency roadside repairs, and providing top-notch customer service.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to handle heavy loads, work in various locations, and maintain a high level of productivity. You will be working independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Operating and driving tow trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Performing emergency roadside repairs
  • Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks on tow trucks
  • Tarping and securing cargo to prevent damage during transportation
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel between locations. The physical demands of this role include:

  • Handling heavy loads
  • Working in various locations
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience.
