Sales Account Manager

Join Siemens Digital Industries Software ULC as a Sales Account Executive and drive business growth in allocated Named Accounts and/or New Logo prospects using a strategic value-based approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute account plans to achieve software and services sales targets, maximizing land and expand opportunities and reducing customer churn.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective handover and resolution of technical solution issues.
- Proactively develop relationships with new customers, understanding challenges/needs and producing an influence map.
- Assess customer financial situations and complete opportunity risk assessments, agreeing with Sales Manager the level of sales investment warranted for potential revenue.
- Guide customers through the buying process for land and expand opportunities, engaging directly with customer decision makers and providing valuable insights to customers about their business.
- Translate value statements into opportunity-specific value propositions, addressing current and emerging customer needs and demonstrating measurable impact on customers' business performance.
- Identify and map key stakeholder landscapes and political relationships in each account or prospect, defining a stakeholder strategy to support achievement of the account plan.
- Prepare license quotes and contracts, addressing contract issues prior to contract negotiations and setting priorities on critical issues.
- Build influential networks and communities of advocates inside accounts (sponsors and change agents) to create additional opportunities.
- Drive all renewal sales opportunities, helping customers through the renewal process with the support of Renewal Sales if available.
- Relevant local university degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales (or lower qualification with relevant work experience).
- SaaS Sales experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of Enterprise Software sales experience with a strong track record of hunting and closing agreements.
- Must be currently located in the greater Calgary area or Vancouver area.
- Focused, resilient, excellent networking capabilities, ability to interact at senior leadership level.
- Sales CRM Systems, especially SFDC.
