At Portfolio Contracting Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Supervisor to lead our team of carpenters and oversee various construction projects. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects, from preparation to completion.

About the Job

This is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. To be eligible for this role, you must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 2 years of experience in a similar field.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Prepare and review project reports to ensure timely completion.
    • Supervise a team of carpenters and coordinate their activities to meet project deadlines.
    • Establish methods to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Management
    • Train or arrange for training for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Client Focus
    • Maintain open communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on-site.
  • Financial Management
    • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
    • Manage budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budget.

  • A valid driver's license.
