About This Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our team at Portfolio Contracting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers and projects on various construction sites.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Description
  • Supervise workers and projects: Ensure that all construction work is completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Prepare reports: Produce accurate and detailed reports on project progress, costs, and other relevant information.
  • Co-ordinate activities: Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, as well as schedule activities with contractors and suppliers.
  • Train employees: Provide training and guidance to new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
