About the Role:
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team of inspired minds who create games together. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for players throughout the living world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with level and narrative designers to create engaging experiences for players.
- Design and white box world structure and map layout to ensure missions, stories, and gameplay concepts are paced, balanced, and connected.
- Design and create systemic world moments and bespoke quests that bring the game world to life.
- Work closely with the writing and systems teams to ensure a cohesive experience.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a professional game development environment.
- Design-focused portfolio of content examples.
- Experience developing or a desire to develop content focused around replayability and/or systemic, emerging moments.
- Proficient with 3D world editing and scripting tools and workflows (we are using UE5).
- Understanding of what it takes to execute on an idea.
- Self-motivated, curious, and collaborative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and collaborative mindset and attitude.
- Knowledge and love of games, with a deep desire to push the medium forward.
