The Marketing & Communications team is dedicated to crafting a legendary brand for the future while driving profitable growth today. Our customer-centric approach ensures that we deliver exceptional value to both drivers and riders through tailored experiences.
We're seeking a data-driven, passionate, and collaborative Marketing professional to join our team as a Brand Strategist. In this role, you will distill business needs into compelling creative briefs, guide strategic creative development, uncover actionable consumer insights, and collaborate across teams to shape brand experiences for Lyft.
Responsibilities:
- Transform business objectives into inspiring creative briefs
- Provide strategic guidance throughout the creative development process
- Uncover key consumer insights that inform messaging and design
- Translate research findings into actionable creative implications
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data and consumer insights
- Lead creative projects and tasks under senior management's guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising multiple stakeholders
- Identify opportunities within the organization to influence product and experience design that reinforce brand positioning and messaging
- Discover opportunities for Lyft to insert itself into culture and create social conversations
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a brand planning/strategy role
- Possess discernment, resourcefulness, and tenacity to bring great ideas to life
- Hold a conceptual mind that differentiates between good and great ideas; ability to refine, nuance, and defend the best ones
- Persuasive and engaging presentation skills
- Understanding of paid media strategies, metrics, and results
- Comfort with a range of deliverables from content to traditional media and events
- Proactive mindset
- Able to juggle multiple projects on fast-paced schedules
- Flexible and adaptable to last-minute asks and changing timelines
