Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident rooms, common areas, and facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Assist residents with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform daily cleaning tasks
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
