Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all rooms and common areas are clean and tidy, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
  • Make beds and change sheets as needed.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to residents.
  • Stock linen closets and handle lost and found items.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
