Job Summary

We seek an experienced Grants and Foundations Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development department, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission through effective grant management and building robust relationships with foundations and other funding entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grant Research and Writing: Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations and institutional donors, craft compelling proposals, and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with foundation staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Grant Tracking and Reporting: Monitor grant submissions and outcomes, report on funded projects, and analyze funding trends to inform future strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public policy, or communications.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in grant writing and foundation relations.
  • Demonstrated success in securing funding from foundations and institutional donors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation

$66,000 - $67,000 based on experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including extended medical benefits, is also available to full-time employees.
