Job Description:

Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide children's mental health services, including assessment, consultation, and intervention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and family assessments, as well as individual, family, and group treatment.
  • Offering consultation to and working with other staff, agencies, and professionals in the provision of services to children and families.
  • Working in a team setting and independently, while maintaining a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, agency policies, and procedures.

Required qualifications include:

  • A minimum level of education allowing membership to one of the Professional Colleges recognized by the CRPO standards.
  • A valid Class G Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1000 000.00 Liability.
  • A clear criminal reference check, vulnerable sector check, internal records check, and driver's abstract.
