We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our transportation planning team as the Transportation Planning Director. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic leader who can drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence.

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annumJob Description

As the Transportation Planning Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, ensuring timely implementation and execution of business and financial plans. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop an operating budget and take necessary actions to operate within fiscal plans.

You will also maintain, improve, and create senior-level relationships with existing and potential customers, suppliers, and strategic partners. Additionally, you will provide ongoing direction, performance management, and developmental support to the executive team, focusing on building world-class capabilities by selecting, training, compensating, and motivating personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 15-20 years' experience in large, owner-operated, multi-site manufacturing organizations
  • Fiscal management and responsibility, business finance, capital funding, risk management, contracts, and partnerships
  • Demonstrated track record of success in driving operational excellence through continuous monitoring and implementation of systems, processes, and controls
  • Metrics-driven individual with attention to detail, solid operational skills, and experience
  • Strategically minded executive with strong communication and interpersonal skills
