Lead Structural Engineer Opportunity

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Civil, Structural & Architectural department, you will be responsible for leading structural design projects and collaborating with our national and global mining teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of structural designs, industry codes, and construction methods
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in structural design
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in the province of Saskatchewan
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize projects
